Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Perrysburg, OH to lead a team of hourly associates, ensure safety, quality, attendance, and performance, and uphold on-time customer delivery. You will engage and mentor staff across shifts and coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR to meet business goals.

The role involves lifting up to 49 pounds, standing for up to 12 hours, and working in variable conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in varying temperatures and weather; some sites outdoors.
• Climb and descend stairs where required.
