Amazon is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, and performance across the fulfillment network in Ohio. You will engage your team during shifts to meet customer delivery promises and optimize operations across first, middle, and last mile workflows.

The role requires managing a diverse team, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and collaborating with safety, engineering, and HR to implement improvements.

Formación

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment where noise level varies and can be loud.
• Work in an environment with variable temperatures and weather at delivery stations.
