Job summary

Grafana Labs is hiring for a senior frontend leadership role within the Grafana Frontend team, focused on DataViz. You will guide multi-quarter initiatives and collaborate across squads to deliver scalable visualizations and robust dashboards.

You’ll mentor engineers, participate in on-call responsiveness, and shape roadmaps while engaging with the Grafana community. Remote-friendly with global teams and strong emphasis on quality and open source collaboration.

Qualifications

Proven technical leadership with multi-quarter initiatives.
Experience mentoring engineers and conducting design reviews.
On-call experience and incident response in production.
Strong AI capabilities applied to real-world problems.
Comfortable working in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-quarter technical initiatives from problem framing through rollout.
Mentor and collaborate with engineers; raise the engineering bar through reviews.
Participate in on-call, incidents and post-incident learning.
Provide technical support in customer escalations and reduce friction.
Cross-squad collaboration; present designs and roadmaps in cross-team discussions.
