Job summary

Savoy in Houston, TX is seeking a Front Server to lead on the dining floor, delivering warm, attentive service and expert menu guidance. You will orchestrate service flow, coordinate with kitchen and hosts, and ensure guest satisfaction from seating to departure.

The role requires strong communication, leadership on the floor, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a high-volume casual Italian dining setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Front Server or lead Server in a busy restaurant.
• Ability to confidently learn and sell menu items, wines, and cocktails.
• Understanding of service flow and guest interaction on the floor.
• Proven leadership on the dining floor during busy shifts.
• Excellent communication and situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire dining experience for assigned tables.
• Guide guests on menu choices and pacing of the meal.
• Coordinate with Bussers, Food Runners, and kitchen staff.
• Maintain table readiness and presentation before, during, and after service.
• Communicate timing and guest preferences with FOH leadership and teams.
• Support opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.
