Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to lead front-end development for complex mission software systems. You will guide a team of UI/front-end developers in delivering scalable, accessible, production-ready interfaces while collaborating with UX/UI designers and backend engineers.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on Full-Stack capability, strong React/Angular/Vue experience, and a track record of shaping front-end architecture in agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading UI/front-end teams.
• Strong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and responsive design.
• Experience collaborating across UX/UI, backend, and product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers with code reviews and standards.
• Architect scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks.
• Translate designs into responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs.
• Participate in sprint planning and agile development.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (Section 508, WCAG).
