Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Software Engineer 3 to lead front-end development for complex mission software. You will guide a UI team in an agile setting, build scalable interfaces, and collaborate with UX/UI designers, system engineers, and backend developers to deliver production-ready software.

The role requires hands-on development across the stack, strong React/Angular/Vue skills, and a focus on accessibility and performance. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
12+ years of software engineering experience; leadership/mentoring experience preferred.
Strong front-end proficiency with modern frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and responsive design.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers with code reviews and best practices.
Architect and implement scalable front-end solutions using modern frameworks.
Translate designs into accessible, production-ready UIs across devices.
Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure data flow.
Participate in sprint planning and architectural decisions in an Agile environment.
Ensure accessibility compliance (Section 508, WCAG) in all UI work.
