Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead a team of UI developers while remaining hands-on through the full software lifecycle.

You will shape front-end architecture, translate UX/UI designs into production interfaces, and contribute to backend services, APIs, data stores, and deployment pipelines as needed. The role requires strong experience in modern front-end frameworks, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and full-stack development.

Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in related technical field.
• Experience leading or mentoring software development teams.
• Proficiency with React, Angular, or Vue and modern front-end tech.
• Experience translating UX/UI designs into accessible production interfaces.
• Full-stack experience with backend services and APIs.
• Backend development in Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and data flows between front-end and backend.
• Experience working in an Agile SDLC and collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical direction and code reviews.
• Architect scalable front-end solutions with modern frameworks and reusable components.
• Translate UX/UI designs into accessible production interfaces.
• Develop and maintain software based on documented requirements.
