Job summary

Real Chemistry is seeking a Lead Engineer, Front End to architect and deliver the user-facing platform for HCP journeys. You’ll own frontend architecture, guide a canvas UI, define API contracts, and shape the design system with the product designer.

You’ll also lead recruiting, raise the bar for quality, and collaborate across product, design, and back-end teams. You’ll operate in a fast-moving, small engineering org with ownership and influence, and contribute to responsible AI-driven features

Qualifications

• 8+ years in front-end or full-stack engineering.
• Experience leading front-end architecture for an enterprise product with complex UI.
• Track record hiring and growing engineers and running technical interviews.
• Comfortable directing AI-assisted coding with human review.
• Fluency defining and maintaining API contracts across a team boundary.
• Ability to turn ambiguous product problems into a sequenced technical plan.
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving, small engineering org.
• Bonus: pharma or regulated marketing/data experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end architecture and hands-on delivery from prototypes to production.
• Lead the journey-builder canvas as it scales for complex journeys and large data volumes.
• Define API contracts with the back end lead to keep interface and data model aligned.
• Drive the design system and design-to-code workflow with the product designer.
• Direct how AI-driven guardrails and model behavior are rendered in the product.
• Hire and lead a front-end engineering team, upholding code quality and CI standards.
• Set standards for agentic coding with company investment in tools.
• Partner with product and design on problem definition and sequencing.
