Job summary

Real Chemistry is seeking a Lead Engineer, Front End to shape the architecture and hands-on delivery of the customer-facing interfaces used to build and manage HCP journeys. You will lead front-end engineering, grow the team, and partner with backend and design to evolve the platform's interface and data model.

You’ll drive the design system, ensure CI-tested code quality, and define API contracts across teams, while guiding AI-assisted coding and maintaining a fast-moving, small engineering

Qualifications

• 8+ years in front-end or full-stack engineering, including 2+ years leading a team.
• Experience leading front-end architecture for a B2B or enterprise product with a complex UI.
• Track record hiring and running a technical interview loop from scratch.
• Comfortable directing and reviewing AI-assisted coding with human review.
• Fluency defining and maintaining API contracts across a team boundary.
• Ability to turn ambiguous product problems into a sequenced, shippable technical plan.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving, still-small engineering org.
• Bonus: pharma or HCP marketing experience or regulated marketing data environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end architecture and hands-on delivery for the platform's user-facing product.
• Lead the journey-builder canvas as it scales to more complex journeys and data volumes.
• Define API contracts with the back end to evolve the interface and data model together.
• Drive the design system and CI-enforced testing standards with the product designer.
• Guide AI-driven guardrails and model behavior in the product.
• Hire and grow a front-end engineering team with a focus on code quality.
• Collaborate with product and design on problem definition and sequencing.
