Responsibilities

• Lead the platform's application data model in Aurora and DynamoDB.
• Define API contracts together with the frontend lead.
• Direct reliability, performance, and cost with DevOps.
• Partner with data science to productionize models.
• Hire and lead back-end and data engineers.
• Set coding standards and CI-enforced testing.
• Collaborate with product and design on scope and sequencing.
