Job summary

Real Chemistry is hiring a Product Designer to define how this platform works and how it feels to use. Reporting to the VP, Product, you will work closely with product management, engineering, and data science to take complex workflows and turn them into easy to use, intuitive interfaces that fit thoughtfully into the platform system.

The team is small and we're building a lot, so there are a lot of opportunities for ownership and influence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing B2B or enterprise software interfaces.
• A portfolio showing component libraries, data display, and navigation and interaction patterns you designed and maintained.
• Experience designing data-dense interfaces that simplify complex tasks.
• Technical fluency with front-end concepts and prototyping in code or with AI coding tools.
• Experience designing AI and LLM-driven features, including how models are described and how trust is reinforced in the interface.
• Skill at breaking large, ambiguous problems into work that can ship in pieces.
• Inclusive design and accessibility standards awareness.
• Ability to communicate design rationale and drive buy-in with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bonus points for martech, adtech, orchestration tooling, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the product design and user experience of the platform, from early exploration through shipped interface and iteration.
• Maintain and evolve the design system so new features fit into it or thoughtfully evolve it as the platform grows.
• Work side-by-side with front-end engineers to establish design-to-engineering best practices and workflows.
• Set a high bar for design quality across the platform, building visual and interaction craft into design decisions and feedback.
• Design how AI features appear in the product and how users understand and interact with them.
• Partner with product management and engineering on problem definition, scope, and sequencing from the beginning of each effort.
• Run research and usability sessions with users and turn what you learn into design decisions.
