Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead FPGA/ASIC programs across the product lifecycle. You will architect FPGA-based systems, lead engineering teams, and drive designs for RF DSP, gigabit interfaces, and embedded processors.

You will work onsite in McKinney, coordinate with multiple vendor devices (Xilinx/AMD, Altera, Microchip), and push for robust verification, scheduling, and risk management while contributing to roadmaps and customer interactions.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of relevant FPGA/ASIC experience in STEM fields.
• Experience with FPGA/ASIC design or verification using VHDL/Verilog.
• Hands-on lab integration, debug, and test of FPGA/ASIC in a production environment.
• Experience leading teams, reviews, and code releases in a multi-person project.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full lifecycle support of production quality FPGA designs for major vendors and device families.
• Generate FPGA designs for high-speed transceivers and embedded processing interfaces.
• Translate system requirements into FPGA-level specifications and architecture.
• Lead small to medium FPGA engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Define schedules, manage risks, and deliver within budget and plan.
• Create comprehensive verification plans, documentation, and user guides.
