Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, Texas seeks a Digital Design Engineer to support ASIC/FPGA development for defense applications. You will translate system requirements into hardware designs, verify functionality through simulation, and work with cross-functional teams in a hands‑on, collaborative environment.

The role requires a foundational understanding of FPGAs/ASICs, microprocessors, and standard interfaces, with opportunities for professional growth and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience with FPGA’s (Xilinx/Altera), RTL design (Verilog/VHDL), and simulation tools.
• Experience with digital design concepts (state machines, pipelining, clocks, resets, etc.)
• Debugging skills using waveforms and logs
• Experience utilizing Python, Perl, or Shell.
