Job summary

Mental Health Resource Center, Inc. seeks a Team Leader for the Multidisciplinary Forensic Team (MFT) to direct program activities, promote recovery and self-determination, and coordinate services with psychiatrists, nurses, and court personnel.

This full-time role emphasizes supervision, accountability, and successful diversion from criminal justice involvement. The Team Leader will administer the MFT program, supervise staff, attend court hearings, and ensure compliance with FACT-based

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation, or related human services field.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three years of experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Valid Florida License as LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Must meet MHRC RBHS vehicle driving and insurance requirements, including a valid Florida Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and screens individuals for the MFT program.
• Directs and coordinates the MFT admission process and treatment in coordination with the Psychiatrist/ARNP.
• Assigns each Individual Treatment Team (ITT) and primary case manager.
• Develops the psychosocial recovery plan and supervises its progress.
• Provides clinical supervision in recovery plan development.
• Participates in court hearings as needed; coordinates communication with judicial partners.
• Ensures on-call coverage and crisis intervention for the MFT program.
• Monitors safety risks, trauma, abuse, and neglect; maintains required reporting.

Education
