Job summary

Luck Stone Corporation’s Atlanta Plant is seeking a Foreman to lead ecosystems, landfill, and concrete recycling operations. This role blends leadership with hands-on supervision, directing daily operations, developing associates, and ensuring safety and compliance across shifts.

You will collaborate with plant leadership, internal teams, and external partners to drive continuous improvement, maintain equipment, and uphold Luck Stone standards of professionalism and neighborly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in environmental, landfill, concrete recycling, or related heavy industry operations.
• DMME Blasters Certification and DMME Foreman Certification or Certified Competent Person required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to safely operate and maintain heavy equipment; ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and direction to associates supporting ecosystems, landfill, and concrete recycling operations.
• Supervise and execute operational, maintenance, and project goals.
• Proactively maintain safe operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations at all times.
• Follow Luck Stone quality control programs and uphold aesthetics standards across the site.
• Represent Luck Stone professionally with neighbors, customers, and inspectors.
• Act as backup to the Plant Manager as needed.
• Work with internal teams and technical resources to drive continual improvement and efficiencies.
• Support the ongoing development of yourself and your direct reports through training, succession planning, and growth opportunities.
• Ensure mobile and operational equipment are maintained to company standards.
• Track and record operational data using current software systems.
• Maintain training and regulatory documentation.
• Manage and facilitate the time management system.
• Work with vendors and MMCs to stay current on technical and maintenance products.
• Provide input to annual budgets and monthly forecast updates.
