Job summary

Luck Stone’s Atlanta Plant is seeking a Foreman to lead ecosystems, landfill, and concrete recycling operations. This role blends leadership with hands‑on expertise, directing daily operations, supervising associates, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance across shifts.

You will partner with plant leadership and external partners to drive continuous improvement and represent Luck Stone with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years supervisory experience in environmental/heavy industry operations.
• DMME Blasters Certification and DMME Foreman Certification or Certified Competent Person required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to associates supporting ecosystems, landfill, and concrete recycling operations.
• Supervise and execute operational, maintenance, and project goals.
• Proactively maintain safe operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Follow Luck Stone quality control programs and uphold site aesthetics.
• Represent Luck Stone professionally with neighbors, customers, and inspectors.
• Act as backup to the Plant Manager as needed.
• Drive continual improvement and efficiencies with internal teams and technical resources.
• Support development of yourself and direct reports through training and growth opportunities.
• Ensure equipment is maintained to company standards.
• Record operational data and maintain training/documentation.
• Manage timekeeping and coordinate with vendors on maintenance products.
• Contribute input to annual budgets and monthly forecast updates.
