Job summary

Optiline Enterprises seeks a Foreman to lead drywall and metal framing crews on commercial and residential projects. You will read blueprints, coordinate manpower, and uphold safety and quality standards on site.

You will mentor crew leads, communicate with project managers, and ensure projects stay on schedule. OSHA safety practices, reporting, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of drywall and/or metal framing experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a Foreman, Crew Lead, or supervisory role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience leading crews of 5-20+ employees.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction best practices.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work full-time in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop drywall and metal framing crews on commercial and residential construction projects.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects our values.
• Mentor Crew Leads, Journeymen, and Apprentices to build future leaders.
• Conduct daily crew meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and safety requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate installation.
• Coordinate daily manpower, materials, equipment, and workflow to meet project schedules.
• Monitor productivity and address obstacles impacting project completion.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades to maintain momentum.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Take ownership of project outcomes by identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain daily reports, production tracking, manpower logs, and material usage records.
• Ensure projects are completed right the first time with high craftsmanship standards.
• Champion Safety culture with daily safety talks and OSHA compliance.
• Identify hazards and promote safe work practices.
• Represent Optiline professionally on every job site.
• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, inspectors, and team members.
