Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least 3+ years of relevant experience in food service management.
Experience supervising teams and resources in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of food service regulations and standards.
Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Supervise staff in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Ensure high quality food and sanitation; lead production and service planning.
Collaborate with Retail Manager and Executive Chef on production and waste reduction.
Manage daily/weekly/monthly reports and cost-reduction initiatives.
Research new techniques and stay updated on food service trends.
Train, mentor, and guide team members; lead by example.
Maintain excellent patient, family, visitor, and staff service levels.
