The Lead Food Service Worker at Trinity Services Group prepares and serves a variety of meals inside a correctional facility, following planned menus and safety guidelines. You report to a Food Service Director and work on-site in a secure environment, delivering quality service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and assist in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• Maintain a neat and food-safe workstation, cleaning as you go, including trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations about sanitation, handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, staying organized and clean.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for extended shifts and meet physical demands.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

About This Position

The Lead Food Service Worker prepares and serves a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus within a correctional setting.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• The duties of the Food Service Worker include, but are not limited to, cleaning as you go and maintaining a neat and food safe workstation, which you will clean and maintain. These responsibilities also include pulling trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Abide by all food safety regulations about sanitation, food handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, while being organized and clean.
• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
