Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Lead Food Service Worker to prepare and serve a variety of meals inside a corrections facility. You will report to a Food Service Director, and the role is based onsite inside a jail.

Shifts run 4am–12:30pm or 10:30am–7pm; weekend and holiday availability is required. Competitive benefits include 401(k) with company match, paid training, PTO, and career growth opportunities, with a starting wage of $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• Maintain a neat and food-safe workstation, including cleaning as you go and trash removal.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and follow department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Comply with all food safety regulations regarding sanitation, handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks while staying organized and clean.
