Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a correctional-kitchen setting, train staff, and ensure meals follow production plans while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

You will oversee portions, dietary requirements, and recipe usage, coordinating logs and inventory as needed in a secure environment. This role requires background checks and the ability to work in a correctional facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Train workers and assign work to promote efficiency.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance with HACCP.
• Participate in preparation and serving of meals.
• Print recipes and direct inmates in using Aramark recipes.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Obtain daily population counts and review with staff.
• Adhere to security policies; store items securely.
