Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. seeks a Food Service Manager II to oversee meal preparation and center kitchen operations. You will ensure compliance with federal nutrition standards, safety, sanitation, and accurate meal data entry.

The role involves inventory control, ordering, and managing day-to-day center activities in the absence of leadership. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, experience in food handling or service delivery to underserved communities,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required. Preference for experience in food handling and/or service delivery to the underprivileged or experience with HCCAA programs.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure proper portions and document results daily.
• Monitor temperatures for safe handling and document results.
• Maintain health and safety standards in kitchen and storage areas.
• Post signed menus and note substitutions as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date kitchen equipment and food inventory.
• Care for and clean utensils and equipment; document weekly tasks.
• Submit weekly grocery orders to Central Office or suppliers.
• Shop for groceries locally as needed.
• Oversee delivery, handling and storage of products and supplies.
• Maintain proper waste storage and control.
