Job summary

Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Manager II to oversee meal preparation and service at the Center Kitchen.

You will manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and sanitation procedures to ensure meals meet federal and state standards. The role includes supervising day-to-day operations in the absence of the Center Director, handling data entry of meal services, and coordinating with dietary staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in food handling and/or serving to underprivileged preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Ensure proper portions and document daily results.
• Monitor temperatures for safe handling and document results.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized kitchen and storage areas.
• Oversee daily Center operations and data entry when Center Director is absent.
