Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a shift supervisor to lead a team of about 30 employees on its production floor. This role focuses on safety, product quality, and asset performance while delivering the production plan on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in food manufacturing, knowledge of GMPs, and experience in Lean or TPM. Responsibilities include coaching, hiring, on-boarding, and cross-group collaboration to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Business Management, Food Science, or Organizational Leadership/Supervision.
• Willingness to work extended days and/or weekends with shift flexibility.
• 2+ years in food manufacturing with production floor experience preferred.
• Experience in food processing, packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, and knowledge of GMPs.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Continuous Improvement environment (Lean or TPM preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 30 employees to deliver on the production plan.
• Hire, onboard, and manage performance; take corrective action when needed.
• Collaborate with on-site and Nestlé USA groups to align objectives.
• Coach employees and develop action plans to address root causes of failures.
• Ensure safe work environment, SOP adherence, and continuous quality improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance and line controls to maximize efficiency.
