Full time, 100% FTE. Morning shifts with some holiday hours required. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Work as a talented culinary expert to compose and prepare meals from scratch. You will be responsible for hot and cold food production in a high-volume kitchen. Enjoy this fast-paced, team environment while being able to quickly problem-solve and make decisions.

Position: Lead Food Production Cook
  • Follow all UW Health guidelines and policies regarding food safety and sanitation.
  • Prepare large volumes of food with a high level of complexity, variety, and quality.
  • Assess quality and condition of ingredients used in food production and prepare food production reports and documentation.
  • Train and orient new staff members.
  • Act as an effective leader for the Culinary Services Department and the organization.
Work Schedule

Full time, 100% FTE. Morning shifts with some holiday hours required. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree in Culinary, Hospitality, or Nutrition preferred.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in food service, hospitality, or customer service required.
  • 6 months of leadership experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
  • SERV Safe Certification required within three months of employment.
