Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test & Evaluation Flight Test Engineering Manager for the E-2 IPT in the Aerospace Sector, reporting to the Flight Test Department Manager. This role leads a team of aircrew, instrumentation, and flight test engineers to execute SIT&E activities across multiple programs.

Responsibilities include developing flight test plans, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with engineering procedures while supporting international flight programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master’s degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience.
• A current DoD Secret level security clearance (or higher) and ability to maintain the DoD Top Secret level security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Programs (SAP) clearance.
• Flight Test Execution experience or an air vehicle or mission system program

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and report SIT&E test activities for the E-2 weapon system.
• Lead a team of aircrew, instrumentation, and flight test engineers.
• Coordinate program planning and execution from proposal through execution.
• Ensure staffing needs and provide operations support across IPTs.
