Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an E-2D Flight Test Section Manager 2 to join our Test & Evaluation organization in Melbourne, Florida. This leadership role coordinates test engineering activities across IPTs to ensure successful program execution.

You will lead aircrew, instrumentation and flight test engineers, develop flight test plans, and oversee staffing, scheduling and program priorities from proposal through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 9+ years of related experience, or Master's with 7+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Must obtain Special Access Programs (SAP) clearance.
• Flight Test Execution experience or air vehicle/mission system program.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of SIT&E test engineering activities.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling and program priorities across IPTs and departments.
• Develop and execute integrated flight test plans and technical artifacts.
• Oversee aircrew, instrumentation and flight test engineers to ensure successful testing.
