Job summary

Imprimus Labels & Packaging is seeking a Lead Flexo Press Operator for the 2nd shift at our Pasadena, Texas facility. You will operate flexo presses, support pressroom operations, and serve as the shift lead, ensuring secure end-of-shift shutdown and facility safety.

Responsibilities include setting up presses, verifying job specs, maintaining quality/registration, and mentoring team members. Strong troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of flexo press operating experience.
• Lead, senior operator, or key holder experience preferred.
• Experience operating Mark Andy or Nilpeter flexo presses preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses per job specs.
• Verify stock, inks, plates, anilox rolls, and dies against tickets.
• Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration to standards.
• Perform press adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
• Support press operators, rewind operators, and press support staff as needed.
• Serve as shift lead and provide technical troubleshooting for press issues.
• Coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
