Job summary

Imprimus Labels & Packaging seeks a Lead Flexo Press Operator for our Pasadena, TX facility on the second shift. You will set up, operate, and maintain flexographic presses, support the pressroom, and act as the shift lead, ensuring security and smooth end-of-shift shutdown.

The role requires 5+ years in flexo press operations, familiarity with Mark Andy or Nilpeter presses, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to quality. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of flexo press operating experience.
• Experience operating Mark Andy or Nilpeter flexo presses preferred.
• Lead, senior operator, or key holder experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses according to job specifications.
• Review job tickets and verify stock, inks, plates, anilox rolls, and dies match job requirements.
• Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration to meet standards.
• Perform press adjustments and troubleshooting to maintain efficiency and minimize waste.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on press equipment.
• Assist and support press operators, rewind operators, and press support personnel as needed.
• Serve as the shift lead and technical resource for press-related troubleshooting and support.
• Help coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Complete required production documentation accurately.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Serve as key holder for the shift, including securing the facility at shift end.
