Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Lead, Converting on the 2nd shift to operate a flexographic press and support manufacturing with quality checks, setup, and lean improvements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, basic computer skills, color vision, and the ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals. Safe, clean, and organized workspace is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience required.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a flexographic press.
• Conduct make ready by installing rollers, plates, inks and dies; adjust for print quality.
• Clean, lubricate and perform minor adjustments to maintain production quality.
• Notify supervision of repairs or replacement parts.
• Deliver finished material to proper areas and ensure equipment is safe.
