We are seeking an experienced Lead Flexo Press Operator for our second shift at our Pasadena, Texas, facility. This position is responsible for operating flexo printing presses, supporting pressroom operations, assisting team members, and serving as the designated shift lead, securing the facility at the end of the shift.
This position is for our 2nd Shift, which runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to midnight. Employees assigned to the second shift are eligible for a shift differential, which provides additional compensation above the base hourly rate.
This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally without assistance, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds occasionally with team assistance or mechanical lifting equipment. The role also requires pushing and pulling carts, roll stock, and press components weighing up to 500 pounds using appropriate equipment. The employee must be able to use hands and fingers to grip, handle, and manipulate press components, plates, dies, and tools, as well as reach above shoulder level and below the waist to load materials and perform press setup. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and twisting are required during press operation, setup, and maintenance. The employee must have the visual ability to inspect printed materials for quality, color accuracy, and defects, including close and distance vision, and be able to distinguish color variations and maintain proper print registration. The position also requires the ability to hear and respond to machine sounds, alarms, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment; work in moderate to loud noise conditions; wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes; maintain regular attendance; and work overtime as needed.
