Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Lead, Converting for the 2nd shift at our New York area facility. You will operate a flexographic press, perform make ready, quality checks, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

You will set up, adjust, and operate equipment, monitor quality, coordinate with maintenance, and support training of team members. The role requires 1-3 years related experience and strong safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed; strong safety awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a flexographic press.
• Perform make-ready: install rollers, plates, inks, dies; optimize print quality.
• Keep workspace clean, safe and organized and report needed repairs.
• Assist with training other team members and adhere to LEAN principles.
