Job summary

ASR Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator to set up and operate presses printing on flexographic film, paper, and nonabsorbent stock. This is a 2nd shift position with exposure to high-speed production lines.

The ideal candidate has wide web CI flexographic print experience, can read and interpret job orders, perform quality checks, adjust ink pumps, and maintain equipment. You will work to meet customer specifications while keeping your work area safe and organized.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting job orders accurately.
• Ability to read measurements in standard and metric units.
• Cross-functional collaboration and meeting deadlines.
• Maintains quality checks throughout production.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic press.
• Read job orders and identify errors.
• Change plates/materials between orders.
• Perform quality inspections before/during production.
• Maintain ink pumps and adjust press.
• Keep area clean and safe.
• Work scheduled shifts and overtime.
