Job summary

American Sugar Refining, Inc. is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator for the 2nd shift to set up and operate a flexographic printing press used on rolls of flexible plastic film, paper, and non-absorbent stock.

The role requires reading job orders, changing plates, conducting quality checks, and performing light maintenance while adhering to customer specifications and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school; or 3–6 months related experience preferred.
• Experience operating flexographic or similar printer in fast-paced printing operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret job orders; set up equipment accordingly.
• Facilitate print press process from start to finish.
• Change plates and/or materials between orders.
• Perform quality control inspections prior to production and at points throughout the process.
