Job summary

US0163 Sysco Raleigh, LLC is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable vehicles and optimize uptime through expert diagnosis and timely repairs. You will lead and mentor junior technicians, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with supervisors to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

The role requires heavy duty truck training, a valid license, and experience in fleet maintenance.

Qualifications

• Heavy Duty truck technical training and a high school diploma are required.
• 2-year school plus 4 years of experience or 5 years in fleet maintenance.
• Leadership experience (1 year) preferred and ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor technicians I and II to advance to greater responsibilities.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair to manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and cost efficiency of the fleet.
• Document work orders with accurate cause and correction details.
