Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking a Lead Fleet Mechanic to maintain our fleet and support rapid response and restoration services. You will manage preventative maintenance, diagnose diesel engines and heavy vehicles, and ensure safety compliance across assets.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in fleet maintenance, relevant certifications, and CDL preferred. The role offers $20-$30/hour with incentives and full benefits, and a path to leadership within our operations team.

Qualifications

• Certifications in commercial fleet maintenance.
• Minimum of 5 years proven fleet maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Hands-on diesel engine/heavy vehicle maintenance experience.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Maintenance: review preventative maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are maintained as scheduled.
• Diagnoses minor mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Addresses maintenance needs efficiently while ensuring reporting requirements are met.
• Emergency Response Support: oversee emergency maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Asset Availability & Utilization: maintain asset availability for projects and emergency responses.
