Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead validation strategy for enterprise SSD firmware and drive improvements in test infrastructure in Longmont, CO.

You will own NVMe front-end feature validation, champion AI-enabled validation approaches, and guide cross-functional teams to improve product quality through automation. The role requires deep expertise in firmware/embedded systems, Python, and AI/ML techniques, with a track record of technical leadership and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with validation methodologies and firmware/embedded systems.
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques in engineering or automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead validation strategy and execution for NVMe front-end features across enterprise SSD products.
• Architect and enhance scalable test frameworks to improve automation, coverage, and firmware quality.
• Drive root-cause analysis and establish robust debug methodologies and standard processes.
• Define and advance validation infrastructure including CI/CD integration, regression systems, and reporting tools.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design decisions and communicate risks.
