Job summary

Marmic Fire & Safety Co. is seeking an Alarm Technician Lead to oversee installation, maintenance and repair of fire, intrusion, and monitoring systems at client sites.

You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate field activities, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role involves traveling to customer sites, reviewing project progress with managers, handling customer inquiries, and providing exceptional technical support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in fire and safety systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, system components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment including pressure washers, scrapers, and degreasers.
• Must be drug-free and pass pre-employment drug testing.
• Physically able to climb ladders and perform demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexible schedule for day and night shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technicians to achieve high performance and growth.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems (fire, burglar, monitoring).
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections for safety compliance.
• Diagnose and repair alarm system issues and troubleshoot effectively.
• Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute installations.
• Travel to customer sites to perform quality checks and address concerns.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers and provide support.
• Handle on-call tasks and vehicle-related emergencies.
• Maintain service records and prepare progress reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve technical processes and service delivery.
