Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead installation projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will oversee technicians, fitters, and assistants, ensuring flawless execution from drawings to testing, while coordinating with the Fire Sprinkler Manager to meet deadlines and safety standards.

You will interpret complex project drawings, delegate tasks, and document progress and changes on-site, while maintaining compliance with fire safety codes

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pipefitting and fire protection codes.
• Must hold valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to display knowledge of principles and practices of fire safety.
• Ability to display knowledge of codes/regulations related to the work.
• Ability to lead capacity and report deviations through inspection programs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret installation requirements from project drawings accurately.
• Delegate tasks to fitters, mechanics and assistants to meet deadlines.
• Install and test fire suppression equipment in new or retrofit construction projects.
• Follow plans and raise design changes as needed for site requirements.
• Update daily installation progress notes on job drawings.
