Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Foreman in the United States to oversee the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will manage on-site teams and ensure projects meet design plans and safety standards.

This role emphasizes leadership, accurate documentation, and coordination with the Fire Sprinkler Manager to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing regulations, and fire protection codes.
• Must hold valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lead and supervise on-site installation.
• Ability to interpret and apply applicable laws, codes, and regs.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to use or repair small/light equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret installation requirements from project drawings.
• Delegate tasks to fitters and assistants to meet deadlines.
• Install and test fire suppression equipment in new or retrofit projects.
• Follow plans and communicate design changes.
• Manage materials at site and minor fabrication.
• Update daily installation progress notes.
• Instruct and train helpers.
• Complete and maintain paperwork.
• Maintain vehicle and tools.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
