Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead installation teams across residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will interpret drawings, assign tasks to fitters and apprentices, and ensure high-quality sprinkler system installations from start to finish.

Applicants must have pipefitting knowledge, fire protection code familiarity, and a valid driver’s license. This role involves hands-on installation, testing, and daily progress reporting, with

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing regulations, and fire protection codes.
• Must hold valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record to drive company vehicle.
• Ability to display knowledge of fire safety principles and practices.
• Ability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to lead, supervise, and report deviations through inspection programs.

Responsibilities

• Use project drawings to interpret installation details accurately.
• Delegate tasks to fitters, mechanics and assistants to meet deadlines.
• Install and test fire sprinkler systems in new or retrofit projects.
• Follow plans and communicate design changes as needed.
• Maintain daily installation progress notes and paperwork.
• Train helpers and apprentices in installation processes.
• Maintain tool and vehicle readiness according to policy.
