Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to install sprinkler heads, valves, and steel/CPVC pipe in new and renovated structures with minimal supervision. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with general contractors, and ensuring safety and on-time project delivery.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, HS diploma or equivalent, and ideally NICET certification.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• NICET Certification is preferred.
• 5-10 years' experience installing fire sprinkler systems is required.
• Must work well independently and in a team.
• Construction experience, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and problem solving are needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut, fabricate and install steel and CPVC pipes as designed for fire sprinkler systems.
• Install and hang pipe, sprinkler heads, fittings, hangers and other components per blueprints.
• Install and trim valves for wet, dry, and pre-action systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct construction of sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with GC and other contractors to meet schedules and budgets.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and progress reports.
