Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field crews in installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in the Hickory, NC area. You will lay out work, supervise fitters, and ensure adherence to plans, codes, and schedules.

The role requires 3–5 years of related fire sprinkler experience, strong leadership, and reliable communication. A pre-employment drug screen and clean MVR are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership and communication are essential for guiding crews and coordinating with design teams.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation and field practices is required.
• Ability to operate basic computer and email tools for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews installing pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to plans and codes.
• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain sprinkler piping systems.
• Train and mentor Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
• Produce accurate red-line drawings for the design team.
• Complete daily progress reports and project paperwork.
• Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
• Ensure work is safe, correct, and on schedule.
