Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to install and supervise all forms of fire sprinkler systems. You will read blueprints, coordinate with DGs and AHJ, and lead retrofit and tenant improvement projects while ensuring safety and quality on site.

The role requires a minimum of five years in Fire and Life Safety, NFPA knowledge, and the ability to work with BIM drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Sprinkler Apprenticeship program completed (4th year Foreman Course).
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 14, 20, 24, and 25.
• Ability to read and install from fire system design drawings including BIM.
• Backflow inspection/repair certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
• Lead installation of new, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipe with appropriate tools.
• Coordinate with contractors and resolve field conflicts.
• Manage job scheduling and progress with focus on quality and safety.
• Provide guidance to other field installers and helpers.
• Interact with AHJ for testing and issue resolution.
• Provide onsite support to peers and customers.
• Assess daily needs and plan future work and materials.
• Understand full scope and identify adds/moves/changes.
• Interpret drawings and install per BIM design.
• Comply with safety programs and company procedures.
