Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee all aspects of planning and delivering commercial fire protection sprinkler systems. This role requires reviewing plans for design and constructability, coordinating with multiple internal departments, and managing safety, quality, and project costs on site.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of fire protection PM experience, strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and/or 3+ years of Fire Protection project management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal project teams, customers, subcontractors, and key vendors.
• Oversee total fire protection field construction to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with pre-construction, sales, safety, purchasing, CAD/BIM, fabrication shops and client personnel to develop and maintain a construction plan and schedule.
• Read and evaluate Sprinkler System designs and coordinate sprinkler layout; manage subcontractor RFIs and change orders.
• Assist Superintendent in on-site quality control and safety procedures; monitor budgets and key metrics.
