Job summary

Honeywell seeks a Lead Field Service Technician to direct fire alarm field activities, including inspections, testing, installation, and troubleshooting. You will report to the Field Service Manager and operate on a hybrid schedule, ensuring safety and compliance across customer sites.

You will mentor technicians, stay current with codes, and drive service quality. A NICET certification is preferred, with potential for certification within the first year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of proven field service experience focused on fire alarm systems
• 1–2 years of technical knowledge of fire alarm systems
• 1–2 years of experience leading field service teams or projects
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex on-site issues
• Willingness to acquire NICET certification within the first year due to state code requirements
• Ability to learn and manage software programs and maintain strong computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Lead field service operations focused on fire alarm systems including inspections, testing, installation, and troubleshooting
• Provide technical expertise and support to field technicians and customers to ensure compliance with state codes and standards
• Coordinate and schedule service activities to meet customer demands and SLAs
• Train and mentor junior technicians on fire alarm systems and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and improve service delivery
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and advancements in fire alarm technology
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
