Job summary

Brooklyn Bottling is seeking a Filler Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate filling equipment to dispense products into containers, upholding strict quality and safety standards.

Your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail will help ensure a clean, efficient production line. Responsibilities include QA checks, sanitation in the cleanroom per GMP guidelines, safe handling of materials with warehouse equipment, and maintaining calibration of tools and records for batches.

Qualifications

• Operate filling equipment to dispense products into containers.
• Perform quality checks throughout the filling process.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation following GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control checks throughout the filling process to identify and address any inconsistencies or defects
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the cleanroom environment, following all GMP (Good food & Beverage Practices) guidelines
• Handle materials safely using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools to move raw materials and finished goods
• Perform CIP for filler in accordance with SOP.
• Support compliance activities associated with the Quality Management System including but not limited to the following: SQF Program, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Verify that all tools needed for Operator QC checks are calibrated and in good working condition
• Verify that filler is set-up properly and is ready for production. i.e. correct change parts are installed.
• Verify that Filler operator paperwork is correct for product to be produced, correct lot code, correct batch, component part number is correct, etc.
• Work in a safe manner and keep abreast of the SDS provisions and updates while adhering to food safety program guidelines.
