Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Lead Filler Operator to oversee filling and packaging operations, training junior operators and ensuring GMP and safety procedures are followed. The role focuses on meeting daily work orders with high safety, quality and efficiency.

The Lead Operator will supervise SOPs, train new staff, and maintain machine performance (HMI/PLC), while ensuring sanitation and quality testing are in place. This is a hands-on, leadership position in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and/or 2 years work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Sufficiently comprehend English.
• Comprehend basic math and use of a calculator.
• Knowledge of basic computer and control systems.
• Mechanical aptitude for assembly, troubleshooting and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Teach and enforce SOPs and GMPs in Production.
• Train and supervise new filler operators.
• Oversee filling and packing per work orders with safety, quality and efficiency.
• Monitor product quality and perform adjustments as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and changeover procedures.
• Document production and machine data for quality records.
