Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified full-time Survey Crew Chief to lead a survey team in the field. The role supports design activities, boundary surveying, and construction staking while providing sketches and layout.

The ideal candidate will manage field operations, ensure data quality, and coordinate with office staff on project status. OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain are preferred, with an Associate's Degree in surveying or related field desirable.

Qualifications

• Leadership of survey crews and mentoring responsibilities
• Experience with field surveys including boundary, ALTA, and topography
• Ability to operate GPS and total stations in static and RTK modes
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to clients and team
• Lead field surveys for construction staking and boundaries
• Organize staking materials and equipment
• Operate GPS, total stations, scanners, and data collectors
• Transfer data files to project folders and communicate progress
• Maintain strong client and coworker relationships
