Job summary

Topographic, Inc. is seeking a Party Chief to plan, organize, and direct a survey party for precise land measurements used in final survey products. You will lead field crews, manage equipment and data collection, and ensure compliance with company standards and safety policies.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with supervisors, and travel to worksites as needed while maintaining meticulous field notes and data logs.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

• Knowledge of state plane coordinates and geodetic calculations.
• Familiarity with Trimble software and field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Organize crew manpower and resources for survey tasks.
• Direct daily field crew assignments and equipment use.
• Ensure field activities meet company and industry standards.
• Enforce safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Communicate daily with Field Supervisor/Project Manager.
• Download data from field collectors and maintain logs.
